This week for me... Monday and Tuesday were REAL hard!migraine filled days.... then came the if i cannot do anything for them there i can do it here. We never ever stopped working the miracles came! and so did the rain! The back of our house flooded again we were soaked from head to toe for three days! But in these three days we found some people so prepared for the gospel in their lives they already have dates for their baptism three of them and the other half told us they want to be baptized! They all have someone as a friend in the church and all but two of them were in the church on Sunday! We got to the point of having to do divisions to pass for them all to go to church it was amazing! I really learned that when we push through the hard times.. they don't go away but the Lord will bless us with better things!!!!We now have two families a single man and a 12 year old girl we are teaching! They are all very interested and so so so ready to progress in this gospel! I do not know if I am going to stay or leave this area yet! We find out a 9:00 TONIGHT!!!!!! super nervous! But i have faith that the Lord knows who these people need. I know that each one of them are going to be baptized in the month of October and their lives will be changed forever! What a blessing it was to have this crazy week!!!I hope all is well at home and you can all have a little more time to breathe this week I will let you know about changes as soon as i can I love you all! A week of many blessings!!
Zone Conference- September 1, 2014
We then had an amazing conference from Elder Valenzuela and President Swapp about what we need to do here in our mission. We listened and learned abput how much more efficient we could work as members and missionaries we realized how much more we could really do!The next three days we applied all of these things our investigators began progressing better people came to church that weren't there the week before! We had the spirit and the strength to do things when we felt like we couldn't! This week was such a blessing as we are come close to changes we are really trying to apply all that we have learned and all that we are learning! Right now we are teaching a lot about balancing our lives! As we are doing this as missionaries we are seeing the difference and the ability we really have! Sorry there aren't many details this week we don't have much time but I hope that each of you have a great week! and love each and every one of you! Your in my prayers and thank
you for yours! MMUAH! Hermana bauer!
Garbage bags make good rain jackets!!
This week we had a lot of rain! (week of August 18, 2014) A family gave us garbage bags to make dresses! Lookin good no??! We thought so too! We cross the train tracks daily this day we got tricky and went UNDER! because the train was coming!!!! We went to the temple and to China in the same week can you believe it! We are happy as ever doing the lords work! Hope to hear how you are all doing this next week and hope that starting school all went well! Keep your chins up and always press forward! Remember you have an Hermana B
auer that loves you!
Ana's Baptism
This week we have one new investigator his name is Angel! he has read the bible 3 times and we left him with ONE chapter in the Book of Mormon he came to church Sunday.. read six! yeah he is an escogido! he then stayed after for a baptism... here is the challenge! We are teaching him tonight! you have a cliff hanger! haha we will see what happens the meta for his fecha is 17th of September! wahoo!President commented on our companionship this week in our interviews!!!! He said it is great and I have learned a skill that I will use for the rest of my life and in my marriage! He told me that for what I have learned in this companionship I will be a great wife leader and have grown a ton and he can see the unity in our companionship! it was a huge compliment for the both of us!Ask dad about the baptism this week! its an awesome story! I love you hope that work is good and that all is well at home! Oh Hermanna Zatarain was sick like all week with a flu bug thanks for being such a great mom and taking care of me when I was sick so I knew what do do to help her feel a little better saltines and sprite was a great trick!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!Hermana bauer!
things are great here!!! I am so glad to here that you have lots of work and good hay! don't let it get wet! BUT GO TO CHURCH! hahha i love ya! haha we have another baptism this week its a super cool story she has been taught for years by missionary's! We have forms from 2012 and metas a ton of stuff but she never could or wanted to get married well we tried to teach her last change and finally prayed and felt the end of last change we should leave her.. it was super hard her mom is in the relief society and wants her daughter to be a member, She has a 2 yr old and is 21 such a cutie! she calls us manas so the beginning of this cambio she showed up at church one Sunday and said... I want to be baptized! we put a cita ready to explain again that she couldn't when we got there she said I am not with my "spouse" who is her boyfriend! He was cheating on me! he moved out last week and that was that! We taught her and it is time! Her name is Ana! she is sooo amazing we have had to change her date many times for work and school. She is changing and starting a lot of new things in her life we are so excited for her new start and her excitement to be a member of the church! So yeah and our companionship is great! we are doing good! we have our tiffs but we have a relationship super super close!!!!!!!!
Ana was then confirmed on Sunday! she almost didn't come to her own baptism! satan works in crazy ways! but her amazing brother helped us out alot and she knew what she had to do! so happy after she couldn't wipe the smile off her face and was at the chapel earlier than us Sunday morning!!!! the bishopric didn't show up, but the Elder Barrera saved us and the baptism went on! what an experience none of us will ever forget!
The Lord's Timing
What a week! Who would have known that a baptism was in our plans this week?? Only the Lord saw that one coming! Rosio and Mia are happy as ever! we have been teaching them for a good while and had a fecha for the 17th... but!!!!! Their baptism was great on Sunday and we were able to get it all put together with their hermanadora perfectly! We had a ton of support from the ward and ever more from the Lord! As we were running crazy and finally got it all into place, Sunday came around the big day!!!!! Well satan, he just couldn't quit!! We didn't have water in the chapel! The Elders were a huge help! We made some calls to the chapel Escobedo and they started filling their pila! Little did we know in all the craziness Rosio had slipped out for the last 30 min to go pick up her husband so he could be there for her baptism! She would not answer our calls! all we could do was pray she would accept the idea to have it on the same day in a chapel ten minutes away! she got back, we explained and at first she was not too excited... "but I want to have it here, in my chapel with all of these people" she explained... we told her we were going to bring people and if we did it another week, her friends couldn't be here! so she accepted, NEXT CHALLENGE members... off we went inviting like crazy! Searching for cars everything that we could do! When it came down to it we had them all!!!! 35 people! can you believe it! The Bishop, Primary President, Leader Missional, a ton of members! investigators from the other missionaries! It was amazing! we couldn't have done it without the help of all the elders! They were such a support, it was really a team effort! Later in the other chapel the pila was draining and filling and we were waiting their another good hour or so! Everyone had great patience, beautiful smiles and were pleased to be there! the best reward was to hear Mia the little daughter say! "Se siente muy bonita" as she left the water and her mom taking her up in a big hug both with huge bright smiles! I know these are people chosen and prepared by our Lord to be taught and become strong members of the church!
I know that the Lord works is his own ways and things happen how they are supposed to! We always see the miracles when we work AT THE LORD'S WILL I encourage each one of you to look for the Lord's will in your lives! He is always sending signs, ask Him! He will tell you! Work with the Lord not against Him! He will do all he can for you to reach the most happieness we can here on this earth! I am so thankful for the experiences that I am having here on my mission and the people that I am meeting I know that they are prepared by the Lord and when we work at his will, everything falls into place! I love you all! thanks for your love and support! have a great week! MMUAH! saludos, Hermana Bauer!

Divisions with Hermana Sumsions!!
This week I had one of the best days in a long time I had the chance to have divisions with Hermana Sumsion! We found one of the most amazing investigators in the whole world! It was such a blessing to have that day with her and to have a best friend in my mission here with me as my leader something I need! she only has three months more than me and is half way done with her mission! Time goes by so fast it is ridiculous i just cannot believe it! But ya know when we push through is when we grow! I am sure learning a lot right now! A lot about myself my patience and about what I can become! I may be tough but there are a lot of things that need to grow in me and they are being forced to grow right now! haha but man oh man! I just do love it here every second but miss you guys so much as well! It is amazing to see the blessings that are passing I hope that you guys can see each an every one of them as well! Please wish grandpa a happy birthday for me and tell him how much I love him and how much of an example he is to me! Love you! Hermana Bauer
